ODIHAM FOOD FAYRE – MONDAY, 28TH AUGUST 2023 – WHAT A DAY IT WAS!
We could not have asked for more for the Odiham Food Fayre Event in Odiham High St on August Bank Holiday Monday. The sun shone and the residents of Odiham and lots of visitors were out in force and in the mood for some great hot and cold food, drinks and Big Band Entertainment.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to support us including all our wonderful stallholders. There were over 60! This was without a doubt the biggest and best festival of local food and produce that we have managed to organise ever!
We have an amazing group of volunteers at inOdiham, who spend hours and hours of their own time arranging these events. We had a key team for the Food Fayre led by Sarah, Fiona and Nicola but all the committee pitched in on the day as did a few extra helpers.
Thanks go to the Parish Council for their generous grant, and to the local businesses that opened and enjoyed the day. Local company RJA Security did a wonderful job with marshalling – they always go above and beyond. Basingstoke Community Radio were enjoyable with their music and Cove Brass Band are always appreciated. Tom Janaway thoughtfully provided the hay bales for everyone to sit on. Thank you to all.
Our events wouldn’t happen without your support so thank you Odiham for coming out and having fun with us. See you next year!
